Katie Davison is a writer, filmmaker and activist based in Los Angeles. Her production company, Rogue Generation, focuses on media distribution for social justice content. Davison has developed, directed and produced commercials and branded content for a variety of commercial clients, including Emmy-nominated and award-winning PSAs for the Epilepsy Foundation and Share Your Heart L.A. She has produced and directed social justice campaigns with artists including Jada Pinkett Smith, Salma Hayek, Joaquin Phoenix, Pharrell Williams and John Legend. Davison is the author of How to Start a Revolution: Chronicle of an American Millennial and co-director of Free America, a film that explores the human cost of mass incarceration, both due to be released this year.
